3. Application Fields of C17500
It is mainly used for fuse clips, fasteners, spring switches, relay parts.
C17300 (M25) high-strength CopperBerillium Alloy is nearly identical to C17200/CuBe2, but with a small percentage of lead added strictly to increase machinability performance for high speed screw machining.
Alloy C17300 M25Copper Berillium, which gets its strength from precipitation heat treating, is used typically in round insertion connector and sensor, RWMA applications in the aerospace, oil and gas, marine, performance racing, and plastic mold tooling industries, non-sparking safety tools, flexible metal hose, bushings, electro-chemical springs and bellows.
BENEFITS of C17300 Copper Beryllium:
High stiffness for insertion applications
Good electrical and thermal conductivity
Excellent in for anti-galling concerns
Excellent machinability
Low friction properties
Excellent corrosion and erosion resistance
Non-magnetic
